and we have been around since the mid 50's
A short explanation about the Boston Bad Boys
It seems the beautiful state of Arizona was to be the destination of a group of folks that grew up in the Massachusetts area while pursuing a strong interest in hot rodding, drag racing etc. This group of tire spinning crazies grew up during the great custom car and hot rod years of the 50's and 60's. What a wonderful time. A portion of this same group remained in Massachusetts while others drifted away to all parts of the country and finally to Arizona. But a couple of thousand miles can’t separate the two groups and all are still very connected to their old buddies. After all these years amazingly enough, the interest is the same, "hot cars." The fact that so many of this same group decided to settle down in Arizona instead of somewhere else in the country will always be a mystery. I bet the weather had something to do with it.
The Boston Bad Boys car club is a group of undisciplined, rubber burning, glass-pack snapping, beer drinking, and hell raising elderly delinquents. The club has no bi-laws, no courtesy cards, (remember them) no official monthly meetings, just an occasional gathering or cruise and a lot of lying to one another about "the good old days." So what's changed after all this time you ask? Nothing much, just our ages.
The club is a closed membership with new memberships rarely being taken at this time. Our members are those that hung the plaques in Massachusetts during those short but colorful years. Plaques with names like, (just to name a few…) The Drag "N" Angels, The Dragons, The Los Coches, The Boston Area Roadsters, The Nomads, the Ty-Rods and of course The Boston Bad Boys.
